PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT.
You have signed an application form for membership of the Australian Soccer Referees Federation (ASRF) NSW Division. This Privacy Policy Statement relates to the collection, maintenance, use and disclosure of personal information about you and provided by you and in all future communications between you and the ASRF NSW Division Inc.
1. Collecting organisation and what information we collect: • In its capacity as an affiliated member of Soccer NSW, the ASRF NSW Division collects personal information. Such information may include name, date of birth, address, telephone number, e-mail address, tax file number, banking details and grading status. • The Soccer NSW and the ASRF NSW Division maintain a member’s register, which may include personal information as summarised in the dot point above.
2. Purpose of collecting information: The primary purpose of collection of personal information is the maintenance of the register of members to facilitate registration of the ASRF NSW Division with Soccer NSW, for insurance purposes, for appointment of members, for communication with members for such appointments (either by telephone, mail, web site or e-mail), for communication between members to facilitate the provision of car pools, for travelling to games, for facilitating communication between members, for discussion of the laws of football, for re-grading of members, etc. Additionally, the information may be used to manage and administer the activities of the ASRF NSW Division and Soccer NSW. This includes payment of fees and charges as levied. We take steps to ensure that the information is obtained lawfully and by fair means and not in an unreasonably intrusive way. This protects the personal information it holds from misuse, loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Also, whenever we collect, use or disclose personal information, we ensure it is accurate, complete and up to date. The ASRF NSW will take all reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify all personal information if it is no longer required for any purpose for which the information may be used or disclosed under National Policy guidelines.
3. Consequence of not providing information: If you do not provide complete and accurate information, the ASRF NSW and Soccer NSW, may not be able to effectively maintain their members’ register. If we do not get the personal information required, we, or any other involved organisation, may not be able to provide the appropriate services, including payment of match fees and insurance required to enable a member to carry out his/her duties associated with football refereeing. Except for the purposes stated in this statement and the Soccer NSW Privacy Policy, your personal details will not be provided or disclosed to any other organization or company without your explicit consent, unless required by law.
4. Disclosure of information to other organisations:
Your personal information may be disclosed to organisations outside the ASRF NSW and/or Soccer NSW and this may include internal or out source service providers who complete operational tasks and manage the necessary components of our day to day operations. This could include, recruitment inquiries, insurance requirements, match payments, regulatory bodies including the Department of Fair Trading, N.S.W. Police services, medical services and the Australian Taxation Office. Your personal information may also be disclosed to Management Committee members and or Office Bearers of the ASRF NSW and or Soccer NSW for the purpose of up-loading information into accounting systems managed by the Treasurer, mailing of annual reports by the Secretary, notices of meetings and clearance requirements for member application between other associations. The website administrator/moderator does not have access to any I.P. addresses as a result of website interaction. 5. Access to information;
Prior to supplying any information to the ASRF NSW and or Soccer NSW, you should familiarise yourself with the Privacy Policy Principles of the ASRF NSW and of Soccer NSW. If you complete and sign any forms or notices of advice that are provided to the ASRF NSW or the Soccer NSW, it will be deemed that your signature is acknowledgment that you agree to supply the information. You can gain access to your personal information by writing to the Secretary of the ASRF NSW and/or the referees coordinator at Soccer NSW to advise us at any time if the information held is inaccurate, incomplete or has changed. A copy of the Soccer NSW Privacy Policy can be obtained by visiting the website of Soccer NSW at www.soccernsw.com.au or by addressing the request to PO Box 6146 Baulkham Hills BC NSW 2153. You may also access the member area of the Australian Soccer Referees Federation NSW Division website at www.asrfnsw.com.au to change and update your details as necessary. If you do not have member access to the ASRF NSW website, then you need to advise the website administrator. Only financial members of the ASRF NSW will be granted private access to the member area of the website.
6. Posting of images on the ASRF NSW website.
The ASRF NSW has established a website www.asrfnsw.com.au for the provision of internet content for its members and the worldwide web at large. Unless advised to the contrary, permission is deemed to be received for the purpose of posting uploaded images either individually or as a group. This is to advertise and recognise, either, social events, honorary appointments or special awards received by individual members or teams of referees from the ASRF NSW. Members who do not wish to have their image appear on the website, should either contact the Website Administrator or the ASRF NSW Secretary. Written consent by letter or email or by way of the application form is required for photos to be displayed on the website by members under the age of 18 years. Note: Please be advised that this is policy maybe subject to alteration without notice. Disclaimer: The above policy applies to all members of the Australian Soccer Referees Federation NSW Division. The Management of the Australian Soccer Referees Federation New South Wales Division should be advised of any misuse of the information gathered by either a member of the Management committee or any member of this Division. The ASRF NSW does not take any responsibility for misuse of information that may be used by non members of this Association as accessed from the public domain or as may be passed on by a member.
